VS - Script for Vendetta...
well well - i've tried to correct some of those darn problems there have been with broken packages etc and they should work now (i've had no problems with downloading/unpacking the new packages), so it should be possible to just use the site for downloading it.
I've also had to release 2.02 a little early - it doesn't include what i intented but what the biip =)
Please just post any problems, bugs, suggestions etc here or mail them to me at busmaster-gt@mail.dk

were rewritten.
Added wget binary for MacOSX (btw

wget now is unnessesary.

made compatable with windows and
easier to install/use in general.
One could say: from alpha to beta =D

d00d. How does this send text to vendetta? Armed with something written in perl which appears to be under 1000 lines, creating an automatic bank would be a piece of cake. Tell me man!!!

Erhm - it doesn't...
You have to press a key to make it output anything...
Though using this technic you'll only have to send 1 keyskroke through to vendetta for it to act - not a whole string, which ofcause would be much faster when theres a run on it...
All the perlscript does is to write a ".cfg" file (which ofcause doesn't need to be named .cfg) and when you for an example do a /showstats or press the bound key is to /load the output file (which is a file containing "echo 'blap'" lines)...
But yes - a bank would be a somewhat easy project to make (the problem would be to make it idiotic proof)...
I could imagine that simple keyskrokes like pressing F2 would be possible to send from script to vendetta while you were playing too - so that it could output automaticly (in X only though)...
