I'm finally switching over to the dark side and giving windows a try...I'm also taking a great opportunity to build a computer out of whatever parts I choose, at somebody else's expense. So, anybody got any component suggestions? (Oh and this also means I'm gonna be BACK ON VENDETTA SOON™!!!)

no thats not mine, though i have taken part in making similar things, built an old comp, 286 10mhz i think. without plugging anything in, all wired together like that. it did function, mostly

I'm almost definitely gonna be running linux to some extent, and if i could use the hardware i'm getting to run an apple OS I would do it in a heartbeat, but i can't :(
