I just got my invite to Google Wave, and I now have 8 invites to give out. The thing is though, you can game the system by creating new email addresses, so if more than 8 people want them I'll be happy to make more. :D

I think you need a Gmail account at this point, so create one and post just the name (not @gmail.com) to avoid spambots and I'll send out invites.

It takes about a week for an invitation to be processed, so mass-producing invitations that way isn't very efficient. Have fun though

I also have a few spare invites, so if there's enough interest that Person runs out of his first batch I'll send out a few in the interim.

and Ladron, I've found that the invites take 2 hours tops. That was nearly a week ago, however.

A month or two ago when I got mine, it took about a week. Everyone else I've talked to agrees that this is typical. Perhaps google has streamlined the process since then.

Yeah, I already tried procreating invites and it worked within minutes.

I would gather that they are giving most people who applied access now because yesterday myself, you and a couple other people i knew got their invites and invites to give out.
