Here is some 600 + pictures me and a friend took on October 30, 2009 at the Hannah Duston Memorial in Boscawen, NH.

In about 40% of the pictures we have orbs. These little balls of light are very interesting. Some people say they are spirits, some say they are dust, and some have many other things they say they are. We don't know what they are but we can get a lot of pictures of them. ;p

first link is to the pictures my friend took on one camera

"Orbs" are dust reflecting back the camera flash. The effect is easily replicated using a camera with a flash located near and in line with the lens (as in the Sony DSC-H2), a dark environment, and near-field airborne particles (including mist or rain). You can avoid them by having the light source well away from the lens so that the light is not reflected directly back into the camera lens.

The Granite State Skeptics probably told you that already.

As I said, doubts aside, explanations aside, I don't care what they are. I can get pictures, in a multitude of environments. With a multitude of different recording devices. And it is fun to try to spot them.

These pictures are here for people to look at and comment upon. I don't put forth any explanation of what they are ... just what people say they are.

If you think it is dust, fine. If you think it is aliens, fine. If you think I blew my nose and took a picture of it, fine. I don't care. Just look through the pictures and have fun.

And the Granite State Skeptics have invited us to a meeting.
