heh, i already pre-ordered, and happens that a freind of mine has a birthday on release day, so thats an easy present.

so any thoughts on this now that it's been released?

It's amazing. Hell, even I was skeptical about whether or not it was L4D1 with melee and New Orleans. I was wrong, though, it really is a piece of art... gory gory art hehe.

i think they made VS too hard for the survivors, kinda de-moralizing for most of the time, nobody makes it on either side.

I haven't necessarily found that to be the case, but I don't like the new scoring system for versus. It rewards distance more than actual survival and it no longer takes into account the final health. Scavenge is fun as hell, though, and pretty friendly if I don't have a lot of time to play as the games are pretty short.
