No reason to just "GO" to the moon again. Unless you're setting up a permanent presence. And if you're setting up a permanent presence, you'd be better served with pre-emplacing a TON of materials, and using robots to create the hab modules BEFORE the astronauts/cosmonauts/taikonauts get there. So that when they do, they've got a nice base pre-made for them, with water, food, everything.
Think of this as "practice" for Mars. Where rescue is a week away instead of 8 months away.
