How To Comment: Digital rights management (DRM) refers to technologies typically used by hardware manufacturers, publishers, and copyright holders to attempt to control how consumers access and use media and entertainment content. Among other issues, the workshop will address the need to improve disclosures to consumers about DRM limitations. Interested parties may submit written comments or original research on this topic.

Seems like iTunes may be leading us in a new direction this month.
I got the info from a game message board. drm on games is getting crazy. i bought Spore but still downloaded it. I didn't want to deal with the drm :( And games like Mirror's Edge has so much drm people aren't buying it, just like Spore. DRM for hackers/computer geeks is silly. We can usually break it or find cracked copies within hours of release. DRM only bothers regular "users", but it doesn't stop piracy or pirates.
