Someone sent me this, it's a pretty cool lizard. Random, but I guess that's what off-topic is for.

I want! I want! Right after I find a way to get me one of those wonderful tortoises from that tiny scrap of Pacific rock...

Also, does it have lesch nyhan syndrome? That's an awful lot of self-nibbling.

Description said that it bites down on its tail and rolls up to defend itself. That probably makes it harder to bite its head off, and protect its belly I bet. Curled up like that it kind of reminds me of a Wheel-of-Time type symbol.

There's this other type of lizard that looks like that one. It's mexican and can throw blood streams out of it's eyes for self defence. Dont remember it's name tho...
Something to do with the devil or something.

A friend of mine has an armadillo lizard of one sort or another. It's pretty badass.
Also, fast.

Yeah, some horned lizards do that. It's supposed to taste bad, so that the predator decides to go eat vegetables instead. Or something.
