Ship Size and Lifespan.
I find it ironic that something smaller then the Vulture and weild a Avalon. It's almost as bad as Micro-Machines where the people are as long as the cars. Perhaps some ships should be massive to show why they move so slow? Then you run into the problem of "oh that ship moves to slow for how small it is" or something like that. It's all from a perspective and life experience, IE: People who like Star Trek will want most things to be pretty big or very small. Star Wars fans will like the frigate to be like the Death Star and the Vulture to be like the X-Wing and the Valk to be like the Tie Adv. whereas those who relate most to real life will think that bombers be roughly three times the size of a fighter (BEAR to a MiG 29) and transports to be 3/4s the size of a bomber but to be wider and more box like (BEAR to a C-130). I'm not here to criticize any one of these, just that the ships need a serious size makeover.
Another note, ship life is all almost the same and seems like that human's haven't come very far in technology. Bigger transports that aren't so big are easy to take down and these supposed "bombers" are more like gun-ships that can only shoot in one direction.
I didn't post this in the suggestions because I know more of the in-community folk look here and this isn't so much a suggestion as it is a argument to see what others views on this topic are so I can make a more complete suggestion.

Pyro, hurry up and post something about Polycon EV!
:D Polycon got it right... The capital ships are as maneuverable and fast as the fighters. It makes sense, because they can tolerate more hull stresses (and have huge engines to make up for the inertia). Happy? :P Uhhh... Why is this in "off topic"? Mmmm... B1 Lancer... *drool*
Polycon Cruiser thingy. Drool...
I have lots of heavy spore weapons on that thing =)

You mean the Genocide Cruiser? Those things rocked...
Mmmm, yes...
Heavy spores, i use them all the time (it's on the polycon robotic plague research planet), and sometimes i fire my 10 lightning cannons and 2 draconen lightning cannons.
It's a shame the animation for Winter Temptest, or the draconen lightning cannon slows down my computer. =(
