well, people who are dedicated to this game will certainly stick around, but my guess is that it will be much harder, and much longer before vendetta makes new converts by the masses, because now look at the competition! most gamers think EVE is better, either because they're stupid or naive, but its still a fact. "Good luck ever becoming a popular game now vendetta online" is perhaps what i should have said.
Suckage, I have a top of the line quad core G5 and I still can't play eve. I was looking forward to this too...
sure it looks cool but ive heard its no fun unless your ok doing little for long periods of time, personally, im not very patient when it comes to that kind of waiting.
yup, $19.99 just doesn't sound pleasing to point and click.

I am returning from eve to vendetta online, my payment is underway....
Eve was a game about risk and being unpreducteble around 2 years ago, now they nerfed it so hard that when u see a ship u can make an easy guess about its fit. Pvp is what I played it for and its becomming worse and worse, solo pvp has been dead for ages. You need 20 of your friends to kill 20 of theirs.

After a tad over 10 hours logged in VO, I was looking towards trying EVE's trial period on my Mac but it won't let me run it on my G5 either. I think I would need one of those fancy-schmancy intel chips but it doesn't bother me. I need more practice on VO and the community on here seems better to begin with.
Lesse here.. until now, only Windows users could play EVE, and yet there was no shortage of windows users on VO...

funny now I think about it, there was a lord spidey in eve that got banned for account sharing, could be another one then the spidey poluting this place though.
i made a couple of accounts with eve the first one i made it and i forgot about the game so by the time i logged on 14 days had passed

Funny, I'd never even heard of EVE until I started playing Vendetta. How ironic. Anyway, I tried EVE's 14-day trial, and just plain hated the controls. Its ike there's no skill in fighting, you just lock on and click once, and the rest is up to fate. And the whole click to move thing is apalling. Whatever, Imma stickin to VO.
I gave that a go and the controls are bad. I stopped on the 3rd day, couldn't take it anymore.
Funny, I stopped on the third day, too. :P
