I was going to ask if there was one that works in the U.S., but there I see the adapter. Is there one that'll connect via USB?

USB is in the low-power, low-voltage range, I think. You really need the 230VAC/1A/50Hz (or whatever suits your local taste) combination to get 'the real deal'.

As long as it's connected to a renewable energy source. Is there a green version? I don't think I could get my electrical current fix with a clear conscious if I knew it was contributing to global warming. I'd like a carbon neutral dactyloadapter.

Sounds like what the Professor needs is a couple of capacitors from of an old CRT monitor or TV hooked up to a small hand-crank generator.

I always prefer my local flavor of AC. Flickering out of phase with my lights gives me a headache.

Good point, greengeek, I hadn't thought about frequencies, I bet that causes one hell of a hangover. Also, if this catches on, we'll probably end up with laws against using this as you drive.

You'd need a commutator, since your car's battery can only deliver DC.
