That blows. I haven't had a home break-in, but I've had car and garage break-ins. It's awhile before you stop feeling paranoid and start feeling safe again.

Oh well, life isn't perfect.

All they took was the cash... apparently they found it easily and then figured anything else wasn't worth the trouble (it was a lot of cash, and everything else would have been a bitch to get rid of).

I'm re-working my finances... might be able to make up for it by July, but I don't know if I can spare all that money by then. We'll see.

In the meantime, I'm installing bigger locks on the back door.

What a drag. Sorry, Cunjo. My bro-in-law had his house in italy broke into last month. While they were sleeping upstairs, someone took everything (to include dirty laundry and the stuff in the fridge) downstairs that would fit through a window.

They also got my nieces laptop with her thesis work. So just as a reminder, kiddies, back-up that data...
