Nothing. Because my parents want to "preserve the sanctity of Christ's birth". Last i checked, Christmas was mostly secular anyway.
WTF Moldy? For real?
If they REALLY wanted to maintain the sanctity of Christ's birth, they'd celebrate it in late September. That's when experts agree his birth would most likely have been, based on background details provided in various texts mentioning Christs birth.
In fact, I would argue that the placement of the holiday on December 25th is a deliberate attempt to obscure existing "pagan" holidays associated with the Winter Soltice - and altogether disrespectful. Much of the Christmas symbology is directly from the Druids, Norse mythology, and so on.
I think they should apologize, pony up with the gifts, and pray for forgiveness.

I forgot to mention my stuff gets delayed till New year's. >_>
You are, in fact, kinda correct, Whistler. The date for Christ's birth was approximated to coincide with the already-existing winter solstice, partially because it was just easier to "take over" an existing holiday, partially because they wanted to take the Pagan out of everything, and partially because Charlemagne was crowned on Christmas day and wanted it so.
Hey, at least the Pagans still have Halloween, right? >:P

Actually, All Soul's Day and All Saint's Day (the day... after Halloween?) are Christian holidays too. Go go Paganism.
Sorry for the double post but in the end, it all comes down to this:

The Pagans still celebrate Yuletide, regardless of what the Christians, the Jews and the Muslims are doing around this date. Since they take their holidays seriously, as sacred days rather than commercial endeavours, they don't mind that Yuletide isn't on the media spotlight, so to speak, at all.
Back on topic, I got Need for Speed Most Wanted for PS2. That's right, I'm still in the stone age of not Wii, and nothing with a 3 in it. Although, the Wii is cool enough that my wife actually wants one, so the future looks bright when we have money. Anyway, been playing Most Wanted almost nonstop for two days....
Got '01, '71 and '89 d'Yquems, and a nice new shiny axe.
I got booty.
