The Argument
It started with an innocent little statement while being bored of mining... enjoy! :P
http://home.arcor.de/famscheffler/ven/errors-nou-edited.log
The result:
14 minutes
770 "arguments"
atleast one seriously wrecked relay
conclusion: we need more stuff to do!
I wonder if we broke a record :P

I am impressed!
Good work guys!

It may be somewhat depressing... but I too, am impressed.
Thinking about it. Was that much worse than an hour of race or any other "events" spam on 100?
Maybe I should call it RP and make this an event on a weekly basis!
Let's call it "Discussing serious issues and stuff with spuck". woo!

Do that, mr_spuck, as RP it is certainly proper for your IQ. And Mecha's of course. The rest of us can simply put you on /ignore for the duration of your event.
spuck, any 'event spam' as you call it has variety and actual content. Some dont participate but nonetheless keep a semi-attentive 'ear' to the race. Much like leaving a TV set on during a [sports here] match while doing something else.
Had the spam on 100 been anything amusing or an actual discussion would have made this ok. But just spamming t+up-arrow+return is just plain being annoying and non constructive.
Plus, it brings over copycats wich just add to the problem (because some third party thought he's steel part of the glory in this mess).

Sorry I haven't actively watched tv in months. I'm not used to haveing content shoved down my throat. What about doing it like Obsidian and chosing a channel for your crap? The bp and enb were pretty successful with that too.
And no leaving 100 for most of the day isn'T an option for me.
Try staying in sync over such a long time, it was tough!
Looks like some people found it quite amusing though. :P
Jex: beloved ^^ ..
genka: I'm doing my best!

Hmmm... he actually does raise a valid point. Using a channel for the race would actually allow people who want to to listen in on the races while the rest of the people are free to talk 1337 on channel 100 undisturbed. That would also allow the MC to tune out 100 and avoid losing some racer messages or the pirates calling out a kill; the trick, of course, would be convincing the pirates to use the channel too, since they seem to enjoy flaunting pretty much every rule of the race.
Of course, he could also /ignore the MC(s) for the duration of the race; that way he doesn't have to ignore 100 and keeps his peace of mind. Then again, he's just one troll/spammer wannabe, so it's better to ignore him altogether.

Maybe because some of them aren't part of the race. duh
About the troll/spammer wannabe. That'd have to mean I had any intention for that in the first place. Haha. I didn't!
