Actually, since the ancient greeks (and probably before), Very few educated people actually thought that the earth was flat. Its a myth that has been propagated by Elementary school education regarding the bravery of Columbus.

In fact, the size of the earth was determined BY the ancient greeks using the systematic difference in the length of shadows in different areas of the globe... they got the number pretty spot on.

I could apply this to a lot of people... they drive me nuts with their wandering apostrophes.

Wandering apostrophes? are they kinda like wandering monsters, or maybe unidentified random encounters?

Youre so picky, Cun'jo.

more like

Its/It's <-- this one drives me nuts....
Things/Thing's <-- how is it that so many people don't know the difference between a plural and a possessive?
Ships/Ship's/Ships'/Ships's <-- The first is NOT a possessive, the second is NOT a plural, and the fourth is WRONG

The one that gets me is "loose/lose", personally.

Or "Ayn<-- best Pker"

Or "Pirates FTW"

Buncha idiot statements.
