At least the Canadian women won Gold!
Gods, man, don't encourage them. At least half of the Swedish national team lives in the same city as me, so I get enough of the hype without my fellow astronauts upping the ante... :-P
(The goalie of the national team once threw a couple of hamburgers at me at mcdonalds, one late summer night. That's about as close as I've ever come to them, and as close as I ever want to be :-D A shame I'm a vegetarian.)
Assuming we're talking about the same sport :-D I don't pay enough attention to current sports events to know fer sure what you're referring to...

Well, the Swedish hockey team did win the gold medal in this year's olympic games. If only the Swiss team had put up more of a fight... ah well. Nice going!

Haha, yeah the US cleaned up.... but watch out. Canada was a cloooose third (not to mention the record amount of 4th place finishes we had this year!)

congrats on a very nice olympics...
kind of a downer to only get 13th overall and 2 norwegian gold medals... when we got 13 golds in Salt Lake City.. but still got 19 medals total... and a record amount of 4th and 5th places (###### swedes) :P
and thanks to the canadian who sent 8000 kegs of canadian maple sirup to norway for good sportsmanship when a norwegian crewmember gave the canadian a chance to win silver in womens sprint duatlon...
and yes it was a very good hockey finals....

Yeah, I admit to not watching much Olympics this year. Seems as though the US underachieved, although LeberMac can definitely identify with Bode Miller's outlook on life...
