Battlefront is not and MMORPG, Wowie the One Hit Wonder, it's a MMFPS, has quite a number of servers, and totally PWNS EVE in combat. In fact, nothing in EVE can compete with the pleasure of shotting down Gungans by the crate!
Damn you americans ! I gotta wait till' november the 18th to play it ! grrrrrrr
For $100 I'll buy one and send it to you...
what are u going to play graig??? EVE or Star Wars?
oh by the way jexkerome, how many ships does that game has?? and what do u mean by MMFPS and PWNS?? and maybe its possible that EVE can compete with the pleasure of shotting down Gungans by the crate..thats what i think..
Star Wars
And EVE equals nice looking screen saver (ie a game I can't play on my Mac -.-)

What? Wowie don't know Webspeak??
Very well, Ignorant One, pay attention:
MMORPG: Acronym (look that up in dictionary.com) for Massive Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Game. In other words, an online RPG for lots of players at a single time, with a persistent universe (that means it's always there regardless of any players actually playing the game). Think this game, Vendetta Online.
MMOFPS: Acronym (you looked it up yet?) for Massive Multiplayer Online First Person Shooter. A shoot-em-up 3D game, from first person perspective (think DOOM), that's playable online by lots of players at the same time. These games are about killing the other players while/or completing objectives, and have no persistent universe. Doom 3, Star Wars Battlefront (I and II), Counterstrike are prime examples of this type of game.
MMOSS: Acronym (there's that word again) for Massive Multiuser Online Screen Saver. Again, an online resource, this time a screen saver, that allows for the participation of multiple persons at the same time, but allows for little actual interaction. Some are actually useful or have an interesting premise, like the SETI program screensaver, or that other one that tests cancer molecules in search of a cure. Others, like EVE Online, are little more than eye candy and serve little purpose but to suck bandwidth from the Internet.
PWNS: Webspeak (hope you DON'T have to look up this one, kid) mispelling of OWNS, as in "I OWN you", which means "I'm so better than you I defeat you every time we face each other". OWNS turns into PWNS because, since the letters O and P are together in the QWERTY (standard) keyboard, people often type P instead of O. The error is so prevalent that is now an accepted form of spelling for OWNS. Plus, if it's in caps, it carries more weight, so "OWNS" pwns "owns", capisce?
NOOB: also known as "newb", "n00b", "n3wb" or a hundred other spellings due to webspeak; "nice way" of putting it: newbie. A total beginner that knows little of the game/issue/community in question and is often found asking stupid questions or breaching community etiquette; also known for being very easy to bait on discussion forums. An Ignorant One; The Reason FAQs were created. Wowie is a excellent example of a n00b. Never fear, proper application of brain and observation powers can help a newb trascend his sad state.
Hope that helps!

I can't play SWBF2 cause it isn't released yet in Europe (will be on the november 18th)
I don't wanna play Eve cause my PC is not a playstation (yet?) and I don't wanna play such heavy games like Eve…
