just saw the movie, all i can say is wow....

Just saw the movie, I thought it was terrific. Never seen Firefly before, but I still enjoyed it more than...well, I dunno when I've seen a more enjoyable movie...'tis been a while.

Keep in mind, Star Wars has ceased to count with Hayden Christensen as an actor... >_<

Joss Whedon is my master now...

A friend of mine drops by last friday night with the whole series on DVD (the ones that includes them three unaired episodes) and lends them to me, so I say "What ze heck" and put the thing on.

Come morning I'm still watching; I think I finished them all around 9 or ten that morning.

Now I've got another DVD collection to add to my list and must try to catch that damn movie in the teathers if still at all possible.

Damn Joss Whedon, damn my love for SF and damn my friend.

Wow. This movie was pretty damn good. I expected it to be a little toned down like most of those television sci-fi series are, but this was actually mature. Great writing, good acting, interesting plot makes for a very well done movie. I loved it. I haven't even seen the series yet either.

If you haven't yet, go see it!
