Arlote has been discriminating against me. He has unfairly singled me out against the multitude of people on these forums, and from what I read here in-game as well.

I believe that because I am a rational individual who just wants to have fun playing a game and having been successful in that attempt, he has unjustly chosen to not grief me in ways that make me as angry as people here are.

Sure he attacks me, but where are the griefing tactics that ruin my gameplay, and make me not enjoy myself? As an American citizen I've been taught all my life that discrimination of any form is just wrong. I demand that Arlote stop treating me like a human being and start being the ass as everyone who posts about him here says he is!

For example: Today I was chilling in B-8 and he threatened to attack me 'cuz I'm a pirate but I was doing a trade mission at the time, so I boosted out of there to continue trading unharmed. He dismissed me with a mere "oh darn you're too far away" and he left me alone. I DEMAND SATISFACTION!

Email John at john@guildsoftware.com. Let him know directly what your concerns and problems are with this game and other people’s behavior. But starting this topic on the fourms will do no good.

Well it's been about 20 mins and it hasen't been locked yet.

Seriously though people I just wanted to say that not all people think of Arlote the way a couple of posters on this message board do. I don't come here often but the times I do I have seen threads titled along the lines of "I hate Arlote" fifteen too many times for my liking.

I just tried to think of a humorous way to get people to just try to enjoy the game and let others enjoy doing what they like to do, and understand that this universe is not all about the RP, it' not all about the PvP or anti-hive fights, it's not all about the pirating of moths and newbies. Frankly, I think all aspects of that are needed for a truly great game which is fun, unique, and open to all forms of play.

Not gonna lock it, just move it to off-topic.

All those threads are about Arlote. There are more but those are the ones that have been active in the last day or 2. Some are also in the suggestions forums. So you can make suggestions to try and fix the underlying problem, people exploiting the game.

I was a bit wary of it at first, but I was quite clear that it was a joke. If everyone was a little more careful about reading posts, and a little more discerning about who they get their info from, we'd all have had a nicer weekend.

I'd try to grief you, Beolach, but you'd kill me in under a minute and simply fly off.

I also have not been griefed. Shot and killed, yes, griefed, no. Sometimes it's hard being a "demi-dev".
