i just noticed somthing wile looking though the screen shots and trying to figure out what point in the test they were from, not only am i not shown talking in any of the shots but all but one that has talk in it has ether lemming or rougelazer (or both) talking in it...

now i was thinking this ether means 1) they were all taken at the same time or
2) you guys played too much.

i was just trying to figure out witch one it was.

and yeah i was board at the time...

Since the screenshots always show the person having both a Score and a Bounty, I daresay they are from the Alpha, Beta, or whatever stage of the game it was that all players had those stats. Which would explain why the names most often seen are of those guys, plus Arolte and a bunch of others.

I'd really like an "official" explanation, too.

Pretty simple, actually... nobody (at least none of the devs) got around to taking new ones after the new (what most people think of as current) universe was released back about a year ago.

True, it could use being updated, but I think the devs are pretty busy at the moment, ne?

yeah i know they are from alpha beta times i was there though alpha and beta i was mealy wondering if they where all taken at exactly the same time in alpha-beta

edit: ie one at the startish one middleish i know some are from alpha and others are from beta because of the different entry ports on the stations instead of them being the same and most have the different stations so it can't be to early alpha so that lead me to think that most where taken at around the same time and the odd one added later there is one of the old cap ship and that was taken out late alpha so that must be an early one but some seem later

Looks like most of them are (if not all) Alpha. The different entry points were also in late Alpha.

Boy i still remember that moment when all the stations were updated ^.^

The Serco with the name pitchblackbob (yes he calls me bob as well) was the first friend I showed Vendetta to, this was roughly a few days after I joined. And I joined 2003-04-21. :P

heh. That reminds me of this one time when Sam was nuking the s14 station and INM was trying to stop him. Then I homed there and got in a bus. General ruckus ensued. :P

hah i loved those donut stations, but i remember getting stuck inside those spinning disks to much to exactly miss them..

well that date is a good pointer to them being taken at about two diffrent points since if memory serves that was before the entrance changes (actuly that was back before they put fields on the out ports wasent it?) so i think they must have taken a bunch round that point and then a load more of the new stations.

p.s hah i remember this time a guy was staion nuking so i loaded up a bus with one of the old gauss cannons on it :) that was fun.
