i dont think so. I seem to remember sarahanne posting that she was starting to play VO to see what her husband was so excited about all the time, which implies that they were married before she began to play.

I doubt it too. But it's happened before. I've read stories where people have met online that way and got into a serious relationship in real life. But I personally wouldn't recommend it. Especially in roleplaying games, where some people pretend to be the opposite sex. Yep. That can get you into a lot of trouble.

Ray and I didn't meet in an on-line game. I was sci-fi person before I meet Ray but I had not played many computer games beyond Heroes of Might and Magic, Diablo (with my mom) and King's Quest series (family effort).

However my sister and her husband did meet through EQ. :)
(she met two guys, the 1st was a lier -turns out he was currently married (told her single, never married), and 2 kids (told her none)- so she learned to ask many more questions about the 2nd and found a real sweetie) They also meet in real life and dated for 4 years after they met. They now play WOW together all the time :)

But yeah, some couples meet through the Internet, be it MMORPGs, forums, message boards or chat rooms. Heck, one friend of mine met his wife through CB (that radio thingie truck drivers use)!

It would have been interesting if sarahanne and Ray had met through this game, though.
