MAUD GATE HITS TUNGUSKA GOVERNMENT

AT the end of a stormy meeting of the Tungunska Central Committee in Edras, the Secretary for Industrial Planning, Mr Stroga Illyubo, tendered his resignation with immediate effect.
This is the most recent and spectacular consequence of the "Mining Marauder gate" that created unprecedented unrest in the Tungunska business and political circles. A week ago, an internal investigation report of the Tunguska Spacecraft Industries Corporation (Dau stock exchange [TSIC]) leaked out, revealing that the subsidiary of the mining concern had produced and sold a number of defective mining marauders over the last weeks. TSIC is believed to have received many warnings and complaints of various authorities and corporations of the Grey Territories about the use of the defective mining maud by pirates or for convoy wars.
"They have a license for manufacturing tractors and they sold ships of massive destruction!" roared Mr Kolyu Tarta, leader of the opposition at the Central Committee when leaving the meeting. "Mr Illyubo was quite negligent in this affair and the TSIC chaos is no excuse" he added, referring to the removal of the TSIC chief executive and technical officers two days ago. There are rumours that the TSIC CTO reengineered the mining maud according to what he believes to be the plans of the legendary Irkot Plovdank. It is also rumoured that he was admitted to the psychiatric section of the Tunguska Hospital shortly after his removal.
The First Secretary of the Central Committee did not wish to comment on Mr Illyubo's resignation and reaffirmed his support to the new TSIC management, outlining that the production of the ship would not be resumed despite the reported threats from various pirate triads and other illegal organisations.
