Day 1 - I have charted a new wormhole into a heretofore-unexplored system ten jumps out from Eo. It has been logged on all Itani charts as P3X-579...
Day 2 - 579 is a dwarf binary system, with a pair of frigid worlds at it's very edge. Hardly suitable for colonization, but for its many rich asteroid belts positively dripping with Denic Ore. I have begun planning on a mining station amongst the largest deposit, pending approval from the Council of the IEF...
Day 7 - It has been three standard days since I submitted a request to the IEF Valorious, our Construction Frigate assigned to this stretch of space. I fear it may not arrive before we are discovered by the hated Serco..
Day 12 - The Valorious has arrived, and the majority of our guild is busy with the construction. So far, no Serco explorer has found this system, although it will be some time before we can fortify it...
Day 25 - Construction is complete on the outpost Pride of Eo's Children. Yesterday's council meeting has officially named this system Maetala, and claimed it in the name of the Itani Exploration Front. Traders now run around the clock to supply the station's rapid expansion...
Day 40 - The final rivet has just been driven into the station's fifth docking bay. Work continues on the capital ship docking arm. All else is proceeding according to plan... Two thirds of the council stands behind me, and the rest are of no consequence...
Day 43 - We succeeded in fended off the second major Serco incursion into Maetala space. Unfortunately, nearly a third of our senior council members perished in the final offensive. Such a pity...
Day 55, at last - The IEF has officially declared its secession from the Itani Nation, and re-christened itself the MEF; Maetala Exploration Front. We have shaped a new nation from the seven stations under our control, and have destroyed the first wave of IDF aggressors sent to pacify us...
Day 63 - Alas, the war goes poorly.. Of our seven stations in five systems, four have fallen.. The hated Itani are nearly at the gates to Maetala, and morale is low...
Day 65 - Now, we are down to our last foothold, hidden in the depths of Maetala's asteroids... fully half of the remaining guild has deserted or been captured, and our spies tell us that the IDF gathers to lay impending siege... I will go down fighting...

**just a melange of a few ideas I had of how exploration/guild stations/station construction and expansion might work in the far future..
