Helpful hint: unloading a ragful of homers on a more experienced player will probably not do much damage to him, but will seriously damage your reputation in that players eyes. And next time he sees you, you won't fare very well. Nor the next few hundred times.

Dropping your cargo, however, will make your helpful neighborhood pirate happy, and the next few times she sees you, she might just wave you through with no extra cost to you.

Essentially, he's saying, tell people you're 'just passing through' and they will leave you alone. Very hypocritical considering he is someone who chased after me immediately after I said I was just passing through.

Lemme just echo genka's point,

I have never (not ever) been killed by a trader that I waylaid, who was packing missiles.

In fact, the number of times I've even been HIT by ANY of said missiles, is statistically insignifigant.

(Let me also add that I, and most players with experience in PvP can keep shooting while dodging your missiles)

just remember, pay us, and not only will we not kill you, we might feel so generous as to save your cargo-laden ass in the future.

Haha, you can practically hear the dread in their voices. Pirates HATE missile spam even if it won't kill them. Use that knowledge as you wish.

Frankly, I have stated many times that I will never have anything to do with the CTC "game". This effectively puts me *out* of that category as *most other* Itani vets are participating. Besides, have you ever seen my character's name on the CTC page?

(Note, I DID hate missilespammers in the beta, cuz with the accuracy+speed of missiles, it was possible to annihilate just about anyone with swarms in close range combat, also the lack of masses gave no disadvantage to hogs that ran them)
