I just wanted to reply to some of the post about the backstory. I'm pretty darn familiar with it. And, no, the Serco didn't win because of throwing lots of people at the Itani. First, all of the factions are blood relatives in the same way that all of the people of earth are blood relatives. The UIT left of their own accord... They didn't like being casual accidents because they were the physically weakest things on the planet. No one forced them to do anything. The Serco win because we don't always fight using humans (how can the game simulate this?). Originally, we tooled up and sent drogues out to vanquish the enemy. We rarely took personnel casualties.

Pidgeon... I'd love to help write another version of the backstory although I believe the current one does present the position fairly - at least for the early history. But I think a lot of people skip that part.

And yoda... I'm now of a level where I can buy good enough kit so I would love to assist in some of the CTC. I'm ChuNTwntany online. Yeah... I'm loud but I'm a proud Serco.

As a UIT player, I think I can contribute with my own experiences. Here are typical meetings between myself and CTCers from each nation in neutral space (the situations are real, but I can't remember the exact wording):

Me: Hey guys, Wotcha doin'?
Itani: Defending the convoy, you can join us if you like.

Serco: You'd better not come close..
Me: Just passing through.
Serco: That would be wise.

And the first person to shoot me before I had picked a side was, you've guessed it, a Serco pilot. You know who you are..

To defend the Serco in this case, the Serco are very wary of all other players when defending because the Itani, whether it be via Eldrad, or some Valk jock, keeps gettting the convoy stolen with apparent ease. The Itani rarely to never escort the convoy in groups, and usually aren't around when their convoy gets destroyed, so they don't seem to put as much stake into foreign players being in the area of their convoy.

Amen to that.

The first time a player killed me it was Icarus, while I mined.

So I killed him back.

Then Yoda starts following me around at Corvus. I don't trust him, so I buy a nice hornet full of Gems, then have a friendly chat with him. He explains he's killing any UIT with Serco kills. I TRY to be nice, and explain it was self defense. He then asks me if I do CtC. I say I ain't telling.(For the record, I have yet to play CtC). So then he tries to kill me. It is very sad when he also dies.

Next is Tal Ra, who tries also to kill me, and also ends up dead.

The recurring pattern here is Serco attacking me for no reason.

If I ever CtC, I know which side I will be on.

This Soltis guy really reminds me of a certain person whose name started with a 'p' and ended with 'irogoeth2.'

Soltis, to be honest, i was hanging around Odia with the intentions of killing somebody(Hey, its Grey space, nation is irrelivent), i just tried using the CTC as an excuse, Great fight btw, i cannot wait till our next one =D

And i started this thread to try get a little serco support (see title - something there is obviously some of now, see ctc pages) there were 6 serco online at the time i was doing CTC, i did not intend to start a nation war/flaming session, hence i deleted all my posts, would fm do me a fav and lock it? pretty please? pretty pretty please, i read the be nice part, and really dont want to be saying what i should?

It's "/explode yodaofborg"... I think... I know you have to be in space when you do it, but just type "/explode" to get the syntax on the command.
