systems-wide press-release no 1: "Elite Guild goes public"
This is the first official press-release of the Elite guild council. The information than can be made public so far about our guild follows.
- we are named Elite in honour of the ancient nation Elite, known to have lived on the planet Earth in the Spectrum, Commodore and Amiga regions, somewhere between years 10,000 and 20,000 B.V.O. (Before-Vendetta-Online)
- we've brought together traders, warriors, diplomats, strategs and scientists
- our mission at this stage of the game and universe evolution is to help new-players integrate easier into the game and the community, and to offer experienced players the environment where they can become ELITE players of Vendetta and excelent role-players
- we are the most active guild in the Vendetta-Universe, targeting and preparing for impressive acievements on the mid and long-term
- our rp activities range from photoshoots contests and group botting parties to more advanced trading, escort or patrol missions.
- once registered and approved as a trusted member, you also get full-access to the guild website. the address is not to be made public for curiosity browsers, in order to avoid non-guild account registrations that would not get approved anyway. To accomodate such requests "Observer" status may be available soon for our guild website. The website is a complex dynamic and interactive content-management-system powered by Xaraya (the official quality-approved Elite CMS)
- our long-term goals will be revealed only to trusted members of the guild
We will be taking a few more applications until we reach the number we consider appropriate and optimum as a size for a succesfull guild and then become a lot more selective on who we accept in Elite. Please secure your location in the guild now if you think our guild fits your taste.
In order to help you find out exactly that, we've registered the first official Guild Channel in Vendetta:
1313 should be very easy to remember. If you are interested in joining Elite or simply interested in more information, please register for our channel by doing /join 1313 (eventually /join 100 to go back) and keep an eye on that blue channel until you see me (ratonu) or one of the lieutenants (Hank Starblazer or Shamil Randuev) announcing their availability for questions, information, invitations.
