The mugging of INM

Apr 01, 2004 RelayeR link
A little while after a failed cap attempt against Gold, a few Itani pilots were in s11. Taking exception to their presence on the doorstep of NT space, a few pilots rallied a coalition of Serco and NT pilots to exact revenge and move the interlopers further away.

The action is chronicaled here by Vendetta freelance reporter RelayeR.

Mercy on the forum if INM posted everytime they won, hell, heaven forbid Itani speaks when they win battles larger than 3on3:)

There were more than 14 pilots at one point...quite a colorful sector roster!

Well, all I can say truthfully is, good jobb to the coalition. Now where in the game was it ever decided that generating a one sided battle was against the rules. The Itani opted a failed attack and then suffered a counter-offensive by a combined armada. Good work to the coalition forces, and an "I hope you learned your lesson" to the Itani's :P

anyway it was a good fight though the odds were highly against Itani.

Yea. Open up with images of a bunch of happy Itanis in their sector barrel rolling and greifing to their hearts content.

Then, a horde of Serco/NT pilots comes flying through. "Requiem for a Dream" starts playing. Explosions to the left. Gauss bolts to the right. Wing bugging vultures up top. Swarms everywhere. And ultimately, a victory.
