Well I just had a great time plaguing the Serco SAW folks with a bunch of other people. Once I get over that whole 'I have more than 1.5 million credits, but I don't want to spend any of it' barrier, and start buying 7 valks just to kill one SAW person...this game gets a lot more fun. Just thought I'd share that with you folks :-)

There has been intense discussion who the SAW pilots were. I still contend that Omega was Phoenix. I can't think of anybody else who would be able to give me a whopping in my valk in my home sector (twice, actually). I really have to learn to dodge those flares ;-)

What, phoenix isn't Omega.
Phoenix uses energy weps, Omega only triflares, besides, Phoenix sucks, and bears no resemblance in fighting style to Omega whatsoever.
And i have seen the both on at the same time.

SirCamps I'm sure has shared the multiple-logon bug, so that really means nothing. Griefing someone in their homesector isnt hard, if you know how to avoid the defbots, thanks to a new vunerability..

Anybody who thinks that Phoenix only uses energy weapons never fought him...

Phoenix is trying to use energy more, but he DOES use tri-flares, believe anyone who fought against him : )

He used to. But now Phoenix switched to tri-tachyon Valk. I've witnessed it several times.

(though that doesn't make him Omega)

I've seen him triflare. I see 1gauss+2flare from him more, though.

But yeah phoenix does use tri flares from time to time but mostly lazers. Also if randomblast says omega and phoenix have completely different fighting styles that just does it. It's quite hard to make a completely different fighting style and be good at it. I think phoenix is part of the saw, just not omega, maybe epsilon.

Well, it's good to be l33t at several different loadouts.

Whether I'm picking off Thargoid with 2 rails + flare or 0wn1ng phoenix with 2 phased blasters + flare, I work competently with several different loadouts.

omega is phoenix,

was pretty funny when we had a bit of fun. He got killed "pure luck, but anyway", and since I was waiting for him to come back I said something to comment phoenix and omega said np. At the same time no phoenix was online "I checked because I wa skinda puzzled why omega commented on my comment :D".

Then 10 mins later omega logged off and instantly phoenix reappeared.

Yeah, but I can get pretty consistent with the phased blasters. They go so slow Phoenix backs into them. :p
