I'd have to poach some of Iain M. Banks's naming conventions and go for ships pre-fixed according to their class.

ROU being Rapid Offense Unit, probably a bit of a contradiction in terms when talking capships. Maybe a Hooligan class [LOU] would work better for those who've read any of his books.
