Effective today the SM and BCM guilds have a formal alliance. Any attack on either guild will be viewed as an attack on both guilds. Together we hope to be able to provide support for peaceful traders.

Who the John Denver are the BCM? Why do people have the incessant urge to form new guilds that don't actually do anything? Why?!

The INM formally declares that any hostile action from either guild will now lead to serious reprisals against both guilds from the INM.

The QED finds these recent developments to be very unsettling. The GWV is unsettled by the fact that the QED is unsettled and the IRK is just plain pissed off at everyone. Meanwhile, the YNG and FIG want to make clear that they support the SM and the BCM while the ZNI will stand beside the INM and SDF. But, the FUG, DING, and ZUR make it clear that they want this conflict to end and will put a stop to it using force if necessary. The NIG, RIK, LIA, NAH, and TSOH will lobby all sides for a peaceful resolution. And in the midst of all this, the NOG, YAP, and KNB just pray they don't get caught in the crossfire.


Meanwhile, reasonable minds (freelancers) roll their eyes and lol.

BTW, there seem to be a lot of guilds I have never heard of sprouting up. Somebody needs to go down there and dig up the old "Guild Central" thread and update it. It's hiding down there, somewhere in the murky depths.

Anyways, to prevent the SDF from "hijacking, pirating, stealing, or holier than thou" attidues comming here. This is going to be short, and conciese.

The SDF will continue to maintain a peace treaty with the SMs and will enforce it's current boundaries. However, the SDF WILL fire on Confederate Craft that fire on Serco or SDF craft and/or Traders or Trader's Guild craft.

As for the INM on the SM/BCM alliance retaliation effort, it took the SDF and the DSG roughly 2.5 months to totally ruin the SMs founders, the smaller INM without support and with the SM/BCM allied and perhaps the SDF providing minimal support, couldn't possibly hope to break the combined force. However, the SDF doesn't condone ANY SM or BCM pilot to go griefing and they will be viewed as a non-civil craft by the SDF in the future.

As for the BCM, what exactly is it? There have been many guilds popping up as Magus said and we need to keep some control of the names so that we dont accidentally mix them all up.

There is a thread down there somewhere where guilds were suppost to post their identity, tag, and purpose. It's lost in the depths though.

BCM (Brothers of Common Motivation) may be a small guild but we will honor our treaty with the SM guild. In honoring that treaty, we will also honour any treaty that they have with the SDF Guild. We won't attack them and will help out if they are in need. We are a Multinational guild, and welcome any member of any nation to join us. I'll post our policies and goals on a separate forum. Since only about 50% of the INM actually use INM tags I find it hard to believe you have any idea what-so-ever on our numbers. In fact atm we have over 20 *active* members. There are a few inactives as well. Now unless I have totatly been out of it the last few months, the SDF is almost dead. I have seen 2 SDF members on in the last month. The SM while still here is no real threat to Itani and if they do decide to be we will respond with like force. The INM is not hostile towards any pilot or guild that does not hurt the Itani Nation. However, as Roguelazer has stated any attack from one guild will result in both being considered hostile. If the SDF wants to get involved in the conflict that is up to them and we will respond if and when that happens.

I'm not sure exactly what Black 1 was referring to, he seems to have confused your simple statement that hostile actions from the BCM/SM would be considered as coming from both guilds for something else. Since both the BCM and the SM have stated that they do not have hostile intent, and neither group has recently SHOWN any hostile activities that I am aware of, I dont believe that you have any reason to worry.
I would however like to suggest that in the event a BCM or SM pilot does initiate hostilities against the INM (magus is right we have way to many friggin acronyms here) that the INM treat it on a case by case basis unless the attack comes from multiple pilots of the guilds, as any group can have a member who chooses to defy the policies of the group.

Also like the INM some SDF members are not currently using tags, this is a situation we hope to remedy in the future, (like when guilds and factions are supported so it doesnt take creating a whole new character to join/leave a guild)

SDF and INM are basically the same except that one is Itani and one is Serco.

Oh ya the other difference is INM rules and SDF does not! :P
