I looked at the guilds we have atm, and i feel there is somethign missing...

mabye i'm wrong, but i feel we could use a guild which whould take care of it's one, in any way posible!
that meens trade convoys, battle training (instead of finding a 'teacher' which i've been trying to do with no luck...not a one i talk with at list) etc...

but if such a guild is to be from all nations members (and i hope it will) then all connections to the nation are to be stoped. that meens that memebers of the guild will not help in capping, defending from a cap, defending from a pirate a memeber of your nation (unless it was aproved by the guild).

a full "do and wont do" will be done later.

now, some of you might say that some of the thing which were said are not apropriate, such as not answering a call for help from a pirate.
but, those limitations are to be done because if such a guild is to oporate for it's memebers, it must act like a nation on it's own in all meenings, that also meens spying on the very nation you chose to help defending the guild.

i believe such a guild could work well on vendetta since we have the /group command and break the bariers of nations.
tell me what you think about it.
and if you like it, add an idea for a name the guild could use.

we actually already have a guild very similar to that. the DSG. they don't cap, and they kill pirates.

but their purpose, as i see it, is to hunt the pirates....

this guild takes care of it's own...not the comunity...

if a pirate attacks a memeber of the guild, he will be hunted by it. if he does'nt attack the guild, most likely he will be left alone.

Your guild sounds slightly like the SDF, however we do cap and defend (as our rules state, we are supposed to defend the nation). We are also connected to the nation.

However, we offer the SDF TP (Training Program) for any pilot that wishes to run it (Serco only though). And a convoy-like hauling program(not really a traditional convoy, namely four or five fighters covering each other while hauling). And the SDF TEC (Traders Escort Corps.) which can be bought to escort for 5000c per fighter (Upto all 4 Vultures) and 15000c for the heavy escort cruiser (Missile Rag, also includes 1 Vulture Fighter).

The SDF is based on the principle of brotherhood (or sisterhood, we do have several female pilots) and we will do what we can to help out a fellow SDF pilot who is running low on funds to sending in an extraction force during a battle or a particularily hairy cap.

PS: As paedric said, your guild does sound a bit like a street gang. So I'd be careful if I we're you. Nobody wants to see somesort of pirate or gang guild for up in Vendetta. They'll squash it immediately (by greifing the leader and members until they cease acting as part of the guild)

Black 1, will you please clarify A.K.A's status in the SDF? I heard him recently claim that he was in the same guild as an SDF member. If he is SDF, your implication that pirating and griefing are unacceptable is, for lack of a better word, hilarious. If he is not a member, then I apologize for the misunderstanding.

You can't change the name, you simply have to make a new character.

Several things for your LOCKED thread

A) The SDF is entirely Serco (except for the old Spy Corps accounts that have been deactivated and decommishioned)

Yes the SDF had dispatched Spies inside the other two nations to pass on delicate information. Finally the Spy Corps closed about a month ago, she was consuming too much money for the output of information.

B) If you want, I can give you a copy of the SDF TP designed by myself and Spellcast. That way you have somesort of standard template by which to base your n00b training off of.


And with regard to AKAs status inside the SDF, he is considered a Parttime Pilot, meaning he flies with us occasionally but pretty much does his own thing. PTPs are recognized as SDF members but dont have tags nor do they obey the SDF ROE really, only when inside the squadron. So if he was with two or more SDFs insystem with him and thsoe SDFs weren't attempting to curb the pirating then he was acting on hsi own behalf.

Do your own thing Doran. Training newbies needs no template. I have done quite a bit of it myself. Just tell 'em what they need to know. 'duh!
