*Note: the following story is fictional and never happened. All similarities between characters here are purely not coincidental. Thank you, and enjoy my multi-part story*
Part 1:
Genral Eli paced the bar in the Dau senate. His superiors in the Syndicate wanted him to carry a highly valuable weapon in his Atlas. This, normally would be very easy and quick, but not today. This weapon was a BGTWKOA, highly illegal, and sought after literally everyone. How TRI managed to get this thing in the first place was, according to Luxen, “very, very, very hard.”
Eli tried to not think about the fun time Syndicate agents had in Deneb. What made it worse, is that he wouldn’t be defended. Luxen had the rest of the guild in their most expensive ships, and had them flying together, in a gamble that the pirates would attack the empty convoy instead.

Part 2:
Eli watched as two UIT workers loaded a large TPG crate into the Atlas’s hold. When It was full loaded, one of the workers walked over to Eli.
“She’s nice and strapped down, sir.” The worker had a strong Sercro accent, and was just massive.
He leaned in and said, “I know what’s in that box, and if I was you, I would jettison that right next to a star and let if fall in.”
“I’m sorry, but TRI would jettison me if I did that,” was the reply.
Genral Eli walked up the stern ramp and up a ladder to a cat walk. He walked to a set of doors, pushed a button, and the ramp started to swing shit. Eli then pushed a second button, which opened the door in front of him.
Eli walked into the bridge of the atlas, and the door closed behind him.
“Welcome back, sir.” Eli’s turret gunner swiveled his chair towards the terminal, and put on a helmet.
Eli sat into his chair and pushed a button. The Atlas lifted off the floor of Hanger Bay 2, and proceeded to fly to a nearby exit chamber.
Eli flew the atlas to the nearest jump point, then put the coordinates in for the buyer’s station in Odioa. He hit a button in the terminal, and the massive jump portal opened, its large blue circle exploding out. He flew the Atlas into the blinding light.

Part 3:
The Atlas flew out of the wormhole to Latos. Genral Eli told Nihilus his location, then preceded to fly to the next jump point. The cargo technician walked into the bridge, informing the captain that the cargo was still secured
“Excellent. Dismissed” Eli told the crewman. Eli pushes a button, opening a jump portal. When they exited the portal, a swarm of blue lights flooded the bridge’s window. (You knew this would happen, you can’t have a VO story without a storm)
“Crap,” the captain muttered under his breath. “Ismeal, get that gauss ready, we will need it.”
Eli expected to see some random drone who decided that this sector was his. That’s not what happened. A couple pirates from a pirate guild started firing on him. Eli released five missiles onto one of is attackers, destroying the ship. Ismeal took care of the other with the gauss turret.
The atlas jumped. Another storm. This time, there were 10 warthogs.
Eli punched the coordinates for Latos N-15 into his navcom. He fought gruesomely to get to the exit point.
Genral Eli jumped into Latos N-15 with a flaming ship, and empty weapons. He pulled up to a docking port, than flew into the station’s docking bay, then opened the stern ramp, and requesting a repair. He looked at his terminal.

"Eli is a boy" 😱😱😱😱
A/N to Robostar. “No duh”
Part 4:
Genral Eli walked calmly off the loading ramp. He passed a couple of TPG workers who were walking towards the ship. The ramp then started to close behind him. Eli walked towards the back of the hanger, where there was a large door that led deeper into the station.
He arrived on the lowest deck. There was a man there.“Ok. What’s the cost for the repairs and rearmament?”
“About 20,000.”
“Fine.” Eli punched in a number, than returned to his ship.
The Atlas lifted off, and retracted its landing gear. Her captain was in a hurry to get back on course, befor pirates figured out his location.
The Atlas flew light years to the next system in the Grey corridor.
A/N: What are your thoughts? Am I doing this right? I’m I breaking some unspoken rule by adding a storm? Any suggestions?

Yes....Do not enter Greyspace without proper experience and dealing with Unrats and others...
Roboster, I know how to survive Grey.
Step 1: find a trusted, trigger happy gunner.
Step 2: put a dangerous turret on your Atlas’s butt.
Step 3: unload everything onto unrats.

Part 5:
“Automata, contact Nihilus,” Eli said with a monotone voice.
“Right away, peasant!” Eli wondered if Automata’s sass was programmed, or something she picked up by listening to channel 100.
Nihilus’s voice rang through the bridge. “Yes?”
“I have arrived at Sedina. However, pirates know what’s in my hold. I am requesting a rendezvous with a Goli or a Dent.”
There was a moment of silence, before Nhilius spoke again. “We are senting Noblesol to Sedina A-5. Dock up with the *CS Trident* and transfer the weapon into his hold. You will then proceed to undock and rendezvous with the rest of the fleet. Nihilus, out.”
Eli put the coordinates in for Sedina A-5. When he arrived, a large purple trident popped into existence. Eli moves the atlas towards the Trident’s stern. He entered the hanger bay located in the aft. Eli turned the Atlas around and landed.
The Atlas’s stern ram opened, and Eli stepped out. Two TRI workers walked over and began unloading the weapon of mass destruction into the hold of the capital ship.

Part 6:
Eli made his way to the trident’s bridge. When he arrived, he saw Noblesol and [INSERT NUMBER] gunners at their stations and concentrating on their screen. Noblesol himself was a massive Secro native, born on Secro Prime. He was wearing a TRI sergeant uniform, with gold decorations.
Noblesol pressed a button on the main terminal. The large blue portal opened. Noblesol then turned around and said “Welcome aboard, Eli. We are heading to the rendezvous point, where I will pick up a few fighter escorts. You will travel with the rest of the convoy.”
The trident existed the jump portal. “You best head back to the Atlas.”
Eli walked out of the bridge and toward the cargo hold/hanger bay. The stern ram was still open, and he walked up onto the Atlas’s bridge. Ismeal greeted him, then prepared the gauss turret. Eli prepared the rest of the ship for departure, and flew out of the capital ship. He saw two warthogs fly into the hold after Eli left.
There was a flash of blue light, and the trident disappeared into space.

A/N There are a few times in the story where I spell “General” wrong. This was intentional, as “Genral Eli” is the character’s name. We are going to just blame it on a random cult in Latos, as that makes me not have to file a support ticket, asking to change the name. Also, think of it as a name, not a title.
Part 7:
The Atlas landed in Nihilus’s trident. As the Latosian walked out of his ship, he saw a green warthog land next to the Atlas. The cockpit began to swing open. Inside was a Dau native, with a very large and luxurious mustache. He was wearing the TRI lieutenant uniform. Luxen. He climbed down and walked over to Eli. “We’re going to the bridge. Come with me.”
Eli followed Luxen to the bridge, where Nihilus, also wearing the lieutenant uniform, was waiting.
“Ok. Let’s recap, Eli, you delivered the weapon into Noblesol’s trident, correct?”
“Correct,” Eli replied.
Luxen responded, “we believe that some pirates knew about this transfer. We are changing all plans to defend Noblesol.”
As if on cue, a holographic image of Noblesol appeared in the middle of the bridge. “ This is Sergant Noblesol. I am requesting backup. I am being attacked by pirates.”
Nihilus presses a button on the terminal, and responded, “All ships, jump to Sedina A-5.”

Part 8:
Noblesol watched as the fleet jumped in. He had set course for Sedina B-8, hoping that the tube would help somehow. Noblesol pressed a button. The portal opened.
Genral Eli looked at the Trident. It flew through a portal, and 5 tridents and 10 goils and countless sub-caps opened their own portals. Eli followed them.
Luxen, still on Nihilus’s trident, watched as Nihilus pushed the jump button again. Luxen sprinted towards the cargo hold/hanger bay, and opened the warthog’s cockpit. Luxen jumped in and pressed a small button, which closed the cockpit. Luxen pressed some more buttons and flew out of the trident’s stern.
Every pilot in the fleet made the same jump to the famous battleground. Noblesol watched as both fleets popped into existence, less than a few seconds apart. Rockets flew from random ships, hitting random cap ships. Red and purple and green and blue colors flooded the views of every ship in Sedina B-8.
Eli flew the atlas to Noblesol’s trident. He landed and told the TRI workers what to do. A minute later, the Atlas flew back out.
Ismeal aimed at a renavent. A golden blast flew out of the stern turret. The renavant turned into floating rubble. He aimed at a warthog. Gone. He aimed at an enemy goil. It’s shields were badly damaged. He fired again, tearing through the hull. He fired a final time. There was no more goli.
