SDF CO, breifly dissappearing
Due to a massive failure of my computer I wont be on Vendetta for about a week or 2. After its repaired I'll be back. Until I return, AKA and Horgrathi are left in charge of the SDF.

Well, internet is working, but for some reason the computer isnt recognizing Vendetta, am looking into it. Until repaired I'll still hang the boards!!

well, welcome to my world. My main comp crashed, so I went and bought two Macs and a PC to replace all my stuff, and turned my PIII 950 MHz into a server running debian.
I get the macs delievered to my house - a Dual 1.8 G5 and a 17" Powerbook titanium (Do the math, I dropped 5500 on hardware alone.) - and the G5 didn't work. So i sent it back, they apologized, refunded me 500 dollars, and sent it back. So now i'm waiting for it, and meanwhile, Dad says no laptop on the internet.
The PC I bought is my "work" machine. I do programming and web design on it, and I'm actually afraid too put games on it. It's not very stable :-/ but it is very fast. For those who are wondering, it's a 2.8Ghz P4 with 1 GB Ram, and a 64 MB NVidia Video Card i found in the trash. I didn't order a card with the machine because I had this one.
So i have to either reconvert the PIII from hosting websites and pulling in a ton of money for me, or build a PII 400 to play vendetta on. So I've been playing at school :). But that's just not enough.
Come, mourn with me brother.

Build the PIII 400 , reconvert that in the hoster and then use the PIII 900 to play vendetta :D

Trigger, if you spoke to me (and you did) and I accepted you (and I did) then yes you are. So in other words, yes Trigger you are in the SDF if you still want to be.
Crazy, WOW! You lost one comp and bought 3 more? (whistles) Powerbook and G5 are really sweet, the G5 (I hear) can give an AlienWare PC a run for it's money when their both at full potential.
Hopefully I can get my comp back online in the next week. Until then I may have to fall on my iMac as a playing surface but I really dont want to, considering it;s slow and I haven't updated Vendetta since 3.3.5

actualy in speed tests done by Macworld the Alienware Aurora kicked the **** out the Dual 2Ghz G5 in 4 of 6 tests
Okay...I was just going by the specs listed, and some more technical guys telling me about what all of them mea nt. I only know a little part about computers (but still more than most people).
Alright everybody, I am back online on Vendetta on my PC instead of my rather pitiful mac. (Not a bash against macs, just my mac, it's kinda old). So I'll be seening you in-flight now!
