This is a tournament that was originally hosted by [SCAR]. I have not contacted Cunjo, to get his permission to use it, but I have a feeling he wouldn't mind, and might be quite happy to see his work continued. What he did would have taken me many weeks to develop (I'm slow), so a big thanks goes out to him and anyone who helped him. THANKS! Also, thanks to Look... No Hands, for pointing me to the original. Without any further ranting, please enjoy.
The Tournament will be sponsored and coordinated by[TRI]. Anyone is invited to compete for up to two of five first titles and prize money. Anyone, even if signed up for two other titles, is invited to sign up for the capital ship title and prize money. The Titles offered are based on class, with six classes total. Each competitor may enter to compete for the title and prizes in no more than two of the classes. The entry fee is 100,000 credits per class entry.
In each class, competitors will be assigned to a double-elimination tournament grid position. They will compete against each other in matches of three rounds each. The winner of two out of three of the rounds wins the match and moves up to the next level, while the losing player is eliminated and moved down to the second-elimination grid to compete for second place. Before each round, the competitors must announce their chosen ship and configuration for the round. See a list of DISALLOWED/BANNED equipment in the RULES section at the bottom.
PRIZES:
The first place (undefeated) winner of each class is awarded the class title and 4,000,000 (4 Million) credits in prize money. The second place winner (with only one elimination) is awarded 2,000,000 credits in prize money for a total of 36,000,000 cr in prizes for the tournament. All titles are retained until the next event.

RULES:
The following weapons/equipment are not permitted:
(for first 5 classes)
ANY nonstandard battery (IHDPC, HDPC, etc...)*
ANY nonstandard weaponry (Hive Posi, Hive Gat, etc...)*
ANY equipment requiring a badge (Certian Railguns, etc...)**
ANY turrets (Gemini Turrets, etc.)*
* Nonstandard equipment and ships may be used ONLY if both combatants agree to allow them before the round
** Megapositron is OK
(for capital class)
No limitations for load-outs of capital ships.
A pilot may fly with an ordinance-only layout, however if they do and deplete their ammunition before killing the other player, they automatically forfeit the round; if BOTH players use ordinance-only, both parties will forfeit the round if one runs out, and the round will be re-played. To prevent abuse, if this occurs more than once in a match, both parties will be ELIMINATED.
All ships and layouts must be announced prior to each round they are used in. Players are permitted to change ships or layouts between rounds and may postpone a round (within reason) until a layout is decided upon or a compromise has been reached. In general, your opponent must agree to your loadout if you're flying anything out of spec. Any deceitfulness may result in the judges ruling you forfeit that round.
No draws will be awarded; if your explosion or leftover ordinance kills your challenger after you die, they win the round; the first person to be destroyed loses the round. If the win of a round is disputed, chat logs must be submitted to determine the winner, and will be validated by the judges of the match.
Two judges will be present at each match. Players wishing to help judge must register with [TRI] prior to the tournament. To register as a judge, visit this thread: https://www.vendetta-online.com/x/msgboard/14/35479
Anything else goes.
.
TIME TABLES:
The Tournament will begin as soon as two registered competitors of the same class are paired up and online. Players will be given one week from then to register for their classes before new entrants are turned away. The Tournament is not restricted to a certain time schedule, and will continue until all matches have been won or lost and the winners determined.
Tournament Officials (judges) may choose to remove competitors from the tournament if they do not show for an extended period of time.

If I may indulge in some ego-stroking: while Cunjo came up with the idea, I did put in a not insignificant effort to help create, design and organize the original event as well. I'm (sort of) still around. You could have asked me...
Anyway, I'm happy someone took up the mantle and that the work is continuing. I may even come back to participate in it myself.
Die well, kids.

Rules on spamming rockets in a battle haha
Seekers are not rockets starblazzz. This event was also started way before the current stats around seeker missiles.
Also I would like to register for the lightweight and Valkyrie class my character name is peytros

You saying we should remove the ban on seekers? Not necessarily against that, I just hadn't really thought much about it to be honest.
I would propose that the UDV raptor is not a light fighter though and be moved to the medium class since it has 2L ports and no other ship in the light fighter class has even 1 L port, that puts it at a distinct advantage over the other fighters in its class.
how is a UC a non standard battery?
UC requires a badge. Maybe you can still use the UC if your opponent and the judges agree to it.
Didn't put loads of time into making sure the restrictions were still relevant. I think those bans are somewhat outdated. They have been updated.
I think UC makes sense to allow no matter what since they're cheap and easy to buy. I don't feel the same way about IHDPC though. Those should only be allowed if both pilots agree to it.
I want to register for the lightweight and heavyweight class.
And a question: Mposis are allowed but what about annis?

Please remember to put the name of the pilot you want to register.
Oh yeah sorry. It's Heinii for me. The UIT char.
