Im thinking of a guild that helps attack enemies or caps flags.

Any Ideas on the name and how i can get people into it?

Technically it would go under Role Playing

General - Stuff about Vendetta.
Bugs - Bugs in Vendetta.
Suggestions - Vendetta feature suggestions (or balancing and the like)
Windows / MacOSX / Linux - Windows / MacOSX / Linux specific issues
Role Playing - Vendetta community stuff
Off-Topic - Home of the remaining CHUDS from the archive bombing of '03

A guild that helps attack enemies or captures flags would need to be specific, so it would probably be Itani Attack Force, or along the lines of.
To get a guild started you should dot eh following things first before you propose it:
1: What you do.
2: Rules.
Next you should post your idea, with the rules, then people will yell at it, like it, and laugh at it, all at the same time. You'll need to support the guild and be willing to revise the rules.

Usually a guild's name is:
(if nation specific)
<nation> <what you are> <number if applicable>
EX:
Itani Nation Special Armed Services (taken by a group of people already)
Or if no nation:
Defense Ship 5 (also taken (sorry if I messed up the name.)

Yeah, I'm a co-leader of the defense ship guild, and I'll tell you what we've learned:

1: Don't have too many rules
2: don't try to be too organized
3: Don't prevent your members from having fun.
4: Screen members carefully.
5: Have a point to your guild.

Keep those 5 things, and you should be all set.

I am the CO of the SDF, the largest guild to ever exist (at least the largest anyone can remeber, the Pre-History of Vendetta is unsure!) And here are some things to do and NOT to do.

1: Dont promote people to high ranks simply becasue they want to, or you think that you want them there because they are your friend, better a Good pilot who hates you than a Poor pilot who loves you.

2: Dont hesitate to do your job. I made that mistake with -SM- 01 (ex-SDF pilot [SDF] 01) and now he's on a killing spree across the universe. If a pilot violates the rules, punish him, if you are attacked, return fire, no diplomacy will work in "agresive" negotiations!

3: Try to make friends with other guilds and pilots, they maybe able to help you later on. (You scratch my back and I'll scratch yours).

4: Make only the rules nessicary to success. The SDF ROE is 7 rules long. Dont make so many that your pilots are bogged down in engagements, keep them safe but dont let them run wild.

5: Warn other nations of traitors in your midst of accounts that fly your tag (such as [SDF]) that arent in the guild so they can be eliminated and your guild isnt harmed by a pilot running crazy with no regard for you tag.

6: (#5 exemptions) Dont sell out a friend that is flying an account on another nation or anybody that has been helping you because they attack you. No one wants to help someone secretly who'll turn right around and sell them out at the earlest conveince!

7: Dont make rush decisions in the heat of the moment and dont shoot you mouth off and piss people off. If you have to make an important descion that isnt needed ASAP then sleep on it and go back the next day or so and report it. Making a descion too fast means you might overlook something that you would've caught if you'd waited.
