For newer pilots who may not be aware, Miharu is an ancient pilot who wrote this joy, took care of the wiki early on, and I can only assume other things that I havent been able to dig up from old posts and what not.

Good god. I would never have seen this thread if a conversation about MMOs I played in the past hadn't happened in a discord I'm in earlier today and decided to check in on the game and forums today.
I'm gonna openly refuse to go read my old journal thread because I won't lie, it's old, it's from when I was still very much an amateur at writing and roleplay, and it is cringy as fuck. (Yes, I just said that. I openly admit my writing was super cringy back then. I'd like to think it's better now.)
tl;dr on the last 11 years (has it seriously been that long?):
I drifted away from VO in '07 while I was in college to play EVE when the Mac/Linux clients were released, partly because Katarn, Lemming and Scuba were nagging me to come try it. Ended up getting pretty well-entrenched there, had fun in the RP community, branched out into PVP—including, yes, piracy, shock and horror for those who remember me here—and eventually peaked out doing Alliance Tournaments for a few years.
Ended up drifting away from EVE at the end of 2016 to play Black Desert at the suggestion of a friend there, which is where I am now. I do keep meaning to come back and play around with VO every so often, but the RL situation is a bit bleh at the moment and I haven't quite got the time to spare for multiple MMOs.
It's good to see things are still active, and I'm quite amused people still remember me this many years on... though I can't quite remember who everyone is... except you, Lecter. I definitely remember your snarky lawyer ass. Love you too.

Well hey, good to see your still around though! And, speaking of discords, any chance you'll poke into any of VO's? every[ONE] is the biggest, so i'll link you there. Just to say hai and see what people have been doing, of course.
