Whistler, I said "Liar, liar, dent on..." Screenshot of dent on fire. It was a play on words that had nothing to do with the individual. The title was Scamdoram gets [ROCK]'d, another play on words, because he had openly admitted to and proudly states on 100 that he scammed multiple players in VO, and he' s in the guild [ROCK]. The "F u too kid" - exact quote btw- was just funny. It's "type f for respects", and he had typed "f".... For respects. I was just, yet again, turning it into something humorous. and I know he wasn't offended because he's in my guild lol. I just have not been convinced that I overstepped any lines in the EULA, and I think dealing with Blaqk and joyless has made you jumpy on the delete key. Don't ruin our fun just because of a few bad apples.

I'm not saying you're not just doing your job and doing the best you can, but not everything is dripping with malice. Well ok maybe this one is because [CENSORED], but even when I dislike the individual my only goal is to put him on blast, not as a person, not as a player, just someone who got their dent sploded

The "scam" part is an issue, as you appeared to be leveling a public accusation of conduct that is to be reported using the ticket system - which is in itself a violation of the rules.

The "The F u too kid" reference to "f" did evade me. I can't really go by who is in who's guild and whether they might be offended or not. I also have to consider other readers who may not understand the connections and may incorrectly deduce acceptable forum behavior. Sometimes it's obvious from the context and is of no concern.

The EULA doesn't really cover these aspects, but the RoC does, and then Incarnate further fleshed it out with his Be Nice post. I generally go by Be Nice because that's the most recent and gives a better indication of Inc's intent.

I want everyone to have fun, particularly in RP, but I do have a responsibility to keep a lid on things that may burst into flame wars and flurries of tickets. I think we all want the devs to focus all of their time on making the game great. I will agree that there are times when ambient toxicity causes benign posts to seem malicious, so I will be more thoughtful about that in the future. Thanks.

It's an ****** move for sure, but it can be argued it's all part of roleplaying a Corvus-aligned con artist.

Some of us are pirates, some are traders, and some scam millions from a few people and then spend the rest of our lives on VO running away and taunting our victims on VO as our dent explodes. Not gonna sugarcoat it lol.
