niki, a Lt. of the self-described "itani nationalist" guild SKV was spotted earlier today offering defense services to Fleet Consumer, well known ONE member. A VOID / TGFT combat force was well on its way to destroying Fleet Consumer's goliath in Pelatus when niki stepped in with counter-offensive tactics, allowing Fleet Consumer to just barely escape to monitored space.

Sadly, this is simply yet another piece of the already overwhelming amount of evidence showing that the once respected guild of elite Itani combat pilots has fallen into hard times and irreversibly has lost its way.

Did I misread something or was self declared neutral trading guild working with a piracy guild to attack a Serco nationalist? I find this quite confusing.

As for Niki's involvement, the good doctor has it right.

You didn't misread, you misunderstood, lnh. ONE has sought to deny station access to TGFT and VOID. Fleet Consumer was attempting to fulfill this directive. TGFT and VOID are allies, but that doesn't mean all our goals are in line with each other. I will admit it is an unlikely partnership, but it has worked out just fine.

if "nikis just love killing stuff" he would have jumped at the chance to finish off Fleet Consumer, not disrupt our attack enough for Fleet to skitter away and then flee himself from the scene. Yet, for some reason, he feels the need to continue defending his sworn enemies (rather than, you know, shoot them). Funny how that is!

The utter lack of any SKV engagement of ONE or RED or allies thereof for the past 2 years demonstrates that they have not only given up defending the common Itani from aggressors, but have completely switched sides and are actively rendering aid and assistance to serco nationalists.
