Hive bot faiure leads to Itani taking over B8!
I may blow the cover(lol) of my greatest alt here, but this had to be shared. This morning at around 8am(gmt) the Itani and the Hive engaged in what seemed like a total onslaught in Sedina B-8 (From now on referred to as bait in this document). I had the pleasure of being the first to discover this invasion!
Many pilots ran to engage the left over ships, but initial re con suggest a much larger force was present:

But then Mayo thought it was smart to shoot me in the ass so I left.

It wasnt hive it was unalligned vs Itani so basically Rats vs Itani, the collectors arent much of a problem
It was Itani vs Unaligned vs Serco. Serco almost lost instantaneously tough.
Yeah well it was mainly hive when I first warped in, there were 100's of the buggers, took a while for any capships to arrive and the Serco ones really didn't last long at all. So forgive me for saying hive when hive were actually there first! (Hive show as unaligned too you know) :p
But yeah, I did have a bit of a problem with TCS's makefriends lagging the interface a bit, and I crashed upon warping a few times, but I think that is related to another bug and not because of the amount of ships present. But as you can see from the video, once I had disabled makefriends "remember hostiles", it was as smooth as butter, even when they were exploding en-mass. So whatever was being tested I'd say it was a success :)
