no offence Darth, I don't visit any guild websites since TGFT turned theirs into a hunnypot, but I'll take your word for it.

Members:
The core manufacturing team is made up of three unique and codependent labor divisions: Mining, Hauling, and Combat. The [TRI] business model is a simple application of fragmenting the workload across a large, well-organized group to mass produce our products at optimal efficiency. All members involved in guild manufacturing projects are entitled to full compensation for services rendered.

- Mining: See prinv's guide to mining for the most in-depth mining guide available. Miners will work together in groups to acquire ore requirements for builds. Comprehensive ore lists will be available to help new miners, and guild members are encouraged to help share information on ore locations and mining techniques with one-another.
- Hauling: Traders in [TRI] will be in charge of continuously supplying commodities to the stations needing them for manufacturing missions. Comprehensive lists will be available to reference what commodities are needed, where they can be purchased, and information like price, weight, etc.
- Combat: The combat division will be in charge of both bot farming for hive drops needed in manufacturing (SSS, Processor Cores, Neural Nodules, etc.), and also the protection of guild assets and interests - whatever that may entail (escort services, use of lethal force as directed against individuals/organizations, combat support for distressed [TRI] pilots, participation of TeamDX and other universal events, etc.)

A message from Neon Black, founder of [TRI], regarding our neutrality:
“[TRI] as you all may or may not know, is the ONLY legitimately neutral guild in the 'verse (aside from [EMS] or the inactive [PPT] guild). But what does that mean exactly? "Neutrality" simply put, means that as a guild we have no official enemies or allies. This neutral stance allows us to manufacture and work throughout all systems in the universe without worrying about nationalist agendas or tiresome wars.

This neutral stance as a guild has taken years to develop, and walking this line is a delicate undertaking. As members of [TRI] we have all agreed to refrain from any nationalism ("Capture the Cargo" and Deneb War missions), station conquering/defending, or any unwarranted acts of aggression (piracy, head-hunting, ganking). This is a very basic principle and truly the only real "rule" for being in [TRI]. But in order for the guild to keep its neutral stance in the eyes of all the other guilds in the 'verse, we must be vigilant in upholding the quiet and reserved nature that [TRI] as a guild has portrayed over the last four years.

As with any guild or nation or organization of people, the actions of one person may influence the image of the group as a whole. In Vendetta Online, it is especially important for us to choose our confrontations (and our words) very carefully. A single pilot with a [TRI] tag can make big problems for the entire guild just by attacking someone or saying the wrong thing on a chat channel. This can get extremely complicated, as it is also not expected that our members remain entirely passive. I do however, want to offer some specific guidelines that can help members keep the peace and avoid unnecessary complications for themselves and the rest of the guild.

1) Station Conquering
[TRI] does not participate in the conquering or defending of any of the greyspace conquerable stations. Period. We have friendships with all of the guilds who fight amongst themselves for control of said stations and they always are down to give out access keys to [TRI] members. If you see a conq station being attacked, just leave the area and let the fight happen. Regardless of who comes out the victor, [TRI] will most likely still get access. And when station access is unattainable via diplomatic channels, rest assured that there is still plenty more to do in ‘verse.
2) Deneb & CtC
Don't even do it. If you like big PvE battles, fight against the Hive in skirmishes. If you like PvP fights, participate in TeamDX or join the dance-party in greyspace. Fighting in Deneb or participating in CtC will put your name (and the name of your guild) on the statistics board on the VO website for everyone to see. Nationalists may jump on this kind of opportunity to make an enemy out of you or quite possibly the entire guild. So don't give them this easy reason to justify an attack on you or us.
3) PvP (Fights, TeamDX, etc.)
If there's one thing we [TRI] absolutely LOVE, it's PvP combat! It is my single favorite aspect of the game, and it is something our entire business is tailored to. That being said, combat is also the main concern and object of which most problems arise. The bottom line is this: If it is not a consensual fight, or you are not defending yourself or another member, then just don't fight. That being said, if you are under attack you are free to defend yourself. Just keep in mind that some people get super butthurt about being killed, and that some guilds will retaliate in full force if their members are killed with or without provocation. So always keep in mind that when it comes to PvP - think before you act.
4) Banter
On a similar note - THINK BEFORE YOU SPEAK! Talking trash or verbalizing your anger on public channels can lead to really tiresome complications. At [TRI], our clandestine business style and delicate political stance requires that our members are reserved and respectful on the outside. By all means we can bitch and moan to each other all day about the people we despise, but when it comes to public chat (or even in private messages) we can't let our emotions run rampant. All the gankers and trolls out there do it for the tears anyways so cursing and screaming about it to them is exactly what they are after. If you give them what they want, they will return for more. Have some respect for yourself and your guild and just keep the discussion within the guild... We have many friends and many connections. We'll strike back when the time is right.

I hope this is a helpful and insightful read for new and veteran members alike and I hope it sheds light on the fact that everything we do and say affects the rest of the guild, no matter how small the action. In [TRI] it is especially important that we can hold on to our calm image and neutral stance among the many loud and obnoxious guilds around us. [TRI] is the best guild in VO for many reasons - one of which being that we are a group of friends, not just business associates. So let us work together to meet the needs of the whole while having a blast individually!”

Conclusion:
There will be those that make claims about what we are and what we've been. But what we really are and forever will be is quite simple though: a pillar of light on the horizon of a bitter war, the eye of a storm that forever brings chaos, a breath of fresh air among the fumes of the intergalactic space ways. Our past and future mistakes will never define what type of character we choose to strive towards. I declare here, that this document forever stand as a binding agreement between all [TRI] pilots, present and future, to follow the policies and behavior set forth and underlined above. Failure to do so will result in a review of whether or not that pilot is cut out for [TRI]. At the end of the day we just want all of our members to be successful and have a good time. We aren't the guild that's looking to screw over everyone. We have ethics. We value fairness, civility, and honor above all else. This is the [TRI] way.

In no way are we a NEW guild. So as such, we will not be subject to your demands.
Nov 01, 2017 joylessjoker link
Darth, aren't you supposed to be the neutral party and protect your new members from getting under unprovoked fire? In such case you should probably continue to pay off all of the pirate guilds, including Jolly Roger.
