Livestream from 10/5
Oops, forgot to post this one . I streamed on thursday, since i'd planned some other content to be edited over the weekend. This stream started off pretty quiet, but i ended up getting 4 hours of pews in with a variety of people. Thanks for the fun, guys!
I always want to check these videos out; knowing that you livestream your play sessions makes me hope to see an appearance of myself someday. However, facing a 4 hour uncut play video is daunting: I recommend adding time markers to the description (similar to this, or more aptly this).
I agree with the idea that watching a 4 hour long stream video is rough. I try to pause my streams so not have it go on too long. I haven't gotten good at this and don't know if this is the best way to go about it either. I haven't really liked how my streams came out and I have actually only left up one of my streams so far cause it was only 10 minutes.
I like the idea of just putting time markers in the video and leaving the whole thing up. I'll prolly start trying this out. Thanks for the idea. Any other ideas around video creation and streaming is welcomed from me.
That's some good pewing there Luxen. Thanks for the streaming. Keep it up bro!

Live streams have always been to _livestream_ a game, videos are just there because they are there. If he wants to make a video from the twitch stream, he can save the stream into a file and edit it there and post to YouTube
If you REALLY like a certain part you can always clip

actually, I stream it to youtube, since people dont seem to care when I stream to twitch. If you'd prefer I hide/download/cut/reupload streams, though, I can.
Same thing applies anyway
Leaving it uncut is fine: that's kind of the point of a livestream. I would also recommend leaving chat up even if you are AFK. I like to imagine these videos 10 years from now; someone might wonder 'so what was Vendetta like in 2017?' and this would provide a nice answer.
Timestamps are a good idea because:
a) it gives viewers a signal of what to expect
b) it shows care on the part of the creator
c) if viewers wish to skip to a certain segment they can do so without having to navigate/orient according to the actual footage. It's one of the same differences between the mediums of VHS and DVD, if you remember the former (and I'm sorry for this analogy).

Leaving chat up: i thought about that too, and plan on doing that, but I'd also prefer keeping afk time to a minimum.
As far as leaving them uncut, Phaserlight does bring up a nice view. I suppose it depends on how busy/long a stream gets; sometimes ill leave them uncut, sometimes not. Ill at least try to edit in something to make jumping to important or interesting parts of the stream easier, if I can.
