Now stop sending me RL threats just because I shot you in Dau/Odia/Sol II/Itan! Shit happens in VO, and I am the shit. Seriously, guys and gals; it is what I am and what I do, get over it.

It's ok to get mad, it only shows you're commited, it's ok to be happy, it only shows you're commited.
But never EVER threathen players in RL, that only shows you're sick. Take a break from VO or even get help in some cases.

Honestly, its a combat game. Improve and have fun! I dunno how many people remember a year and a half ago when I first joined VO, but its thanks to everyone I have met that I have improved to where I am now. Its been fun, and it will continue to be so.

Why pass on something as good and pleasurable as beer, luxen?

Actually, ive tried a few before, and didnt agree with the taste. a few wines and whatever the hell smirnoff is, too. Hey, but that means more for you guys, right?

On a subject though, I really sometimes don't get what some people expect from this game, since a clue comes from name, introductory missions, and of course from chat itself.

Inhibitor hit the nail on the head here. New pilots entering VO seem to think its a massive trade network space game. despite how combat, and specifically PVP, oriented everything is, it flies right over many of these new pilot's heads. then, when they get killed by a near-godlike power, they rage and fuss and sometimes even piss themselves.

then, they do one of several things. they quit, they realize what VO is, or they continue living their delusion of what VO isn't.

Those who realize what VO really is tend to stick around the longest.

No kidding, luxen. Once I killed a noob in grayspace, and judging from his response, it was his first time dying in VO. He literally threatened to find me IRL and hit me on my head with a baseball bat, and fumed on and on for good 10 mins.

suggestion: You get instantly killed when crossing into the greyspace border if you have never died before. congratulations, nobody can have a perfect record with 100% game completion of finishable missions. hey, noobs, quit complaining because you never read the large print.

I would generally try to avoid people I met in VO irl jist cos most of you guys are strange... But yeah if I had to I'm sure most of us are nicer irl.

I met a decent handful of VO people yalls are a cool bunch (and for EP Next time we're in BC at the same time I'll try not to be a 45 minute "traffic free lol" drive out in Coquitlam and hopefully you'll have more layover time)!

Whoever's sending hate mail and is going after people outside of the game really oughta re-evaluate their priorities (and this is coming from me of all people)...
