for?
this is for any NT or Secro pilots that want to commit to a basic war with the Itani.
Why do you hate us so. What have we as a people done to deserve mass "greifing".
WTF? Jesus, Nihm... Are you trying to grief all the newbs away from Vendetta?
Nihm..... since when were you other than Itani?
Pyro, he didn't say he was going to grief newbs. I would not use the word "grief," because it has negative connotations given it by this community.
Nihm is asking for supporters in a war against Itani.
I'll join.

How about SNATFGACDIOBI instead? The "Secro/NT Alliance to finally get a cap done instead of bothering Itanis". Focus on stuff that matters instead of griefing people.
We're at war. That means you kill people. I guess that offends some people's sensibilities.
Sorry, but we're not three nations at war. We're normal people, testing a game for bugs. We are NOT here to roleplay.
/me wonders why there is a role-playing forum.
"Vendetta™ is the working title for Guild Software's first major product, a massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG), set in space. This game is intended to let the player create an existence of their own, amid the stormy chaos of a persistent, evolving universe."
Notice "MMORPG," for the uninitiated, it means "massively-multiplayer online role-playing game."
Here is info on Vendetta:
The Vendetta Universe, as determined by the background storyline, puts the "present" date at approximately AD 4432, or 2122 years since a large colony of the human race was cut off from the Sol system, following an unexpected Wormhole Area phase-shift in AD 2310. Since then, due to an unsurprising mix of human arrogance, misunderstanding and conflict, humanity in Exile has split into three Nations. The Serco, once peaceable scientists who pursued their interests for the benefit of all mankind, now a formidable, warlike race, feared throughout the known galaxy. The Itani, formerly the aggressors responsible for countless wartime horrors, now a wise and benevolent people, haunted by their dark past. The Neutral Territories, a loosely knit Nation of corporations, merchants and explorers (not to mention smugglers and pirates), now clinging to life in the more hostile regions of deep space.
The complete history of the universe, chronicled in detail from AD 2140 up through present day, will be made available closer to release.
Characters will begin as part of one of these three major factions. A character's alignments with factions may shift, however, and they may also become involved with a number of other, fringe factions who serve their own interests. Each of the Nations has its own starting advantages, lending themselves to certain activies which have a significant place in the Nation's cultural background. However, these starting advantages are not absolute. The intent is to allow characters to become whatever they wish, but the road will not always be easy, and it may mean contending with the political and social forces of the universe.

Well, if this continues.... an all out war would be the logical result, and considering that the itani have the most money AND the most players, it will probably not be a good thing for you (neither will it be good for itani, mind you). Even tough it would be interesting to see a real all-out-war, all tough I think most n00bs will just leave after their ship have been blown up for the 3532th time by a team of suicidal-bus-/exploders.
Itani has more money than either of us. So, we can die separated, or die united.
"Itani has more money than either of us. So, we can die separated, or die united."
Not necessarily. It could just be one or two people with a ton of cash. I, for one, have almost 0 credits (I have something like 100 or 200 creds). And no, I'm not willing to change nations just so I don't get griefed. I'd rather leave Vendetta until this whole thing cools down.
Edit: And take a look at this: (CPC=creds per capita, rounded to nearest cred)
Itani CPC: 18,881
Serco CPC: 17,087
NT CPC: 21,579
Itani lags well behind the NT, with Serco in last. If you combine Serco and NT in a weighted average, you come out to 19,372 CPC, putting NT/Serco in the lead, with a significantly higher population to boot (5,225 vs. 3742). What was this about dying united? Looks like it's pretty unfairly weighted against Itani. Itani also tends to get most of the newbs, meaning the percentage of people who can fight is much lower.

Who says you have to die in the first place? Just don't do this ITKM-bla and everything will be fine ;)
