There is all that talk about the treaty, but it's not a real treaty between 2 nations!

this so called "treaty" is maintained only by very few...

now, you cant deside weather do keep it or not...

today i kept the treaty, but should I?
it was kept when a distress signal was sent from the serco to the nutral /team message borad considering the big cap today.

but later how was i rewareded? being pirated! and by what other nation then the serco? not the disliked itani!

If this treaty is to be maintained the serco top players, or those who care about your nation (and as a former serco, i care about it!) MUST get a hold on your newbies (all who came after the 3.3 reset!) and explain to them that thier actions may change the balance of powers in this game.

Dont get me wrong, i am not saying that all serco are not keeping the treaty. on the contary, meny serco i know do keep it.
it takes a meny workers to build a construction, but one god damn fool to bring it down!

serco, if you dont keep your newbies under control, this treaty will be kept only between the players pre 3.3 and it wont be too much use because the players who joined after 3.3 are not just part of this world of vendetta but also the successors or the players who will be forced to leave the wold of vendetta, like BusMaster[TPi] and other good players who left us through the month.
If you want vendetta to be a world of total mayham after you leave it then let the "peace treaty" remain as it is, but if you want to have a world with balance then "fix" this treaty by making ALL players obay it, not just the minority or majority, but all!

Over the past few days I have been attacked by several Serco n00bs, so this is a very good proposal. There should be a log in broadcast to new players...

If they're n00bs, just waste 'em. Then tell 'em what's up.

Well, don't expect the Defense Ships to Care: If you are a pirate we will attack you (unless you pay us enough). We do not honor this worthless treaty!

So it's not only newbies who dont respect this treaty but also the Defence ships!

I wonder how meny players are aware of that?
some of then do keep on playing as if there is still a treaty. Now i see it's something of the past:(

The defense ships are not part of any nation. They're multi-national so nation politics do not apply to them.

YEs but they still respresent their nation when flying that nation's colors. They are giving the NT and ITani nations bad images by ignoring the ROE and pirating trade vessels. The SDF is currently KOS all Defense Ships of Itani or NT nationality because we are "Cleansing" the offenders.

Newbs are relatively unimportant parts of the treaty since they are normally not monetarily able to purchase heavy weapons or fighters that can do real damage to other nations or pilots. By the time they can afford such equipement they have heard of and been educated about the treaty.

We apologize for any Serconian n00bs that are hunting down NT pilots, we are doing what we can and will try harder to educate all the newbs we can about the treaty before they get the equipment to injure other craft fatally.

yes, i strongly advise you all to work to get the treaty going strong. Tell all your noobs if you can. Make it last!

-Um, no they don't. What part of "not part of any nation" did you not understand? If there was a team 0 that let you stay non-aligned we would be part of it. But there is not. Thus, all DS players have 2 DS characters between 2 different nations. One has an indo-arabic number (Defense Ship 8) and one has a roman numeral (Defense ship VIII.) Not that difficult to understand really.

While flying those colors, they represent the nation those colors they are flying because they represent the nation's ideas. For example a Blue DS pirating could be seen as the entire Itani Nation condoning piracy as the Itanis arent doing anything to stop him or train him it is wrong, thus implying that that nation is inferior and less civilized.

ooooh, i cannot resist. Here it comes. Some of you will remember this. Back pre 3.0, Blaster, one of the aces at the time, had a similar problem with red n00bs.

This was also pre-nation names. We were still all colors.
It appears this problem has continued on throughout the game, the clash between red n00bs and gold players. Something everyone needs to address i suppose.

SL, what this thread what about, if we take the Iraqi as an example is that the Iraqi are to teach him that he should not attack the Usa because they had a treaty with them!

ZEAL, this thread started a while ago when the red noobs attacked me, while we still had the treaty with serco, and i said what you can see at the beggining of the thread.
