Nation Wars #424
Vendetta-OnAir (VOA), is proud to bring you Nation Wars #424 this December 6th.
*** The TIME will be 2PM Eastern Standard Time, 9AM Pacific, 7PM Sunday GMT (Or 19:00 /time in game) ***
All citizens are welcome to participate, there is no entrance fee, exact Prize Amount is to be determined and depends on donations (Will be at least 10 Million Credits!). Some of it could be yours!
The Basic Rules are as follows:
1.) Only those who are on-time are allowed to participate.
2.) Participants must be on their nation's team unless they can make a claim to be unaligned in which case they may choose to fight for Grey if Grey team is allowed that week.
3.) You may not start fighting until the host signals the start of the battle - this includes the 15 minute period prior to the planned starting time.
4.) You may not return to the battle sector after you have left except to observe from a healthy distance in an EC-88 or EC-89.
5.) No running from the asteroid field.
6.) The last team standing wins.
This week all ships and Grey team is allowed.
Any guild or player is welcome to donate to the prize pot, and by doing so will earn mention during the event and in the results.

So, what happened?!?
I will have it up in the morning, I use the video as my best go to when posting results so I don't make the results post until I have the video done...
Holiday season has me working 12 hour days and I used my time yesterday to get the Pew Chat Die promo pushed out.

To make a event successful, it does help to be in game at least an hour before, and remind people that the event is going to happen in 100 throughout that hour or more. I didn't have time to do that this week so we had a very lackluster turnout.
Originally if was just me and Niki in sector so me and Niki were just going to duel, then people began arriving 1 by 1, I figured we would just have a last man standing until the teams became 2v2v2, then I just kept the original format.
In the end watching Niki's back we were able to pull off the win, after giving out the prize money me and Niki went 1v1 and I got my butt handed to me.
I have been having issues recording these, I think it has something to do with AMDs update from CCC to cnext or the quickstream program. I am actually going to abandon Bandicam for the time being and try out the Quickstream to see if I get decent results and better performance. Right now I am having microstutters while trying to play on both my laptop and desktop.
The Prize Pot for this event consist of 20,140,000 credits thanks to donations from PPT, Mar190, and bad cowboy. This allowed each victor to receive 10,070,000 credits.
