Bojan seems to have gone very quiet on the ethical superiority of SKV . We are moving into the christmas period, many vets will return .

Surely we should have another lecture from SKV about how they are the ethical guardians of VO and how we should all play by the rules that SKV dictate rather than by the rules the devs allow ?

Really we mere traders and miners could do with a refresher about our ethical inferiority. And of course we have many new players, Bojan should explain to them that SKV considers itself to be moral of guardians of VO rather that the folk that actually make and run the game.

After all, if SKV don't step up to the mark and give us another lecture then the playerbase might start to think that all that ethical crap was just to gain a tactical advantage at a specific point in gameplay. To support their support tickets as it were. They might even begin to see the hypocrisy behind SKVs ethical stance. Now that would never do would it ...

There have been those, lately, who have espoused the opinion if that if some gameplay mechanic within the game is exploitable in some way, then it must be "fair game", because "it's the dev's fault that it exists, until they fix it!". Allow to me clarify that notion:

Exploitation of a bug, flaw, or inherent issue in this game, always comes with the potential for an administrative response. The more egregious the exploit, the harsher the response, up to and including being permanently banned from this game.

Incarnate : I posted in General since Bojans original thread claiming that they held ethical superiority over the rest of the actions of the playerbase rather than the devs was posted in General where it remains. I therefore posted in General, to have posted in RP would have surely been considered demeaning and insulting both the devs and to bojan ?

RP is fun and all but you don't sound like this is fun for you. A dig on the devs serves no purpose but to annoy them. Don't push for more forum moderation, that's just one more thing to do. I want them happy and serene so they can produce at their peak efficiency, and so that they are happy and serene for themselves too.

I have genuine concern for someone so pathological they would engage in actions that inevitably led to many people leaving / unsubbing from VO, including several of your own allies. Good thing you have mental health care providied by the university you teach your ethics lectures at!
