Thanks for all the feedback guys.
I'm taking the running of this event pretty serious, so I really do want and need to hear everyone opinion on the rules.
I will run it this way this week, but moving forward, I will be open to changing whatever rules that seem to not be working out.
I've even been considering hosting two Team Wars a week. One at the traditional time, as this week, and one during the week, like Wednesday or Thursday night.
Based on the player activity page, Thursdays are really packed and it would only make sense to take advantage of the higher player count.
Let's not slam anyone's opinion here, and keep the productive dialogue going.

Most vets would prefer a bunch of newbs show up to die and collect cash than the alternative. Nation War is about lots of people exploding via PvP, not about the prize money.
You sure about that??? The last time I looked, the pvp-minded players seek real fights to hone their skills, not just something to boom. If they just wanted to make something explode, they go on hive skirms. Too many noobs only interested in the prize money reduce the quality of the event. Persoally, I think bus wars are more fun and beneficial without the laggy android noobs. As a true pvp-minded player should, I'm far more interested in engaging a skilled, superior player and losing than my meaningless kill ratio.
Harpo is NOT one of those pvp-minded players, so that figures why he would want to do this. No offense, everyone plays the game differently.

Your still arguing about a problem that doesn't exist.
Nation war has never been only for skilled players. The prize money is a simple lure to get as many people to attend as possible.
You're not seeing any problem because we play the game and approach it differently.
Time is a very precious commodity. I don't want to waste my time booming ridiculously lagging or overly easy opponents when I could be spending time with superior players with raw skill. Thus, an event with too many of those time-wasting noobs getting in the way of my betterment reduces the quality of the event for me. As it does for other similarly minded players.

So you won't attend a nationwar if the newb ratio is too high? Really? Even if the newbs weren't on your team?
Yes that is absolutely correct!
Ok, well then you won't be there. Moving on, lol.
Your loss.
Team Wars #1 - aka Nation Wars
Here is the video from my perspective. Feel free to let me know of any corrections that need to be made, although unless it is something major, I more then likely won't go through the entire process of re-rendering and uploading to YouTube.
Feel free to give suggestions for music for the upcoming weeks. I've decided of instead of pulling random songs from my library to just feature one artist, however many songs it takes to fill the video.

Hoban -Wash- Washburne was on the red team.
Nice video though, and thanks for posting. Music is great!

Thanks, made the correction as an annotation during that image, hopefully that will suffice.
If you watch it, feel free to give the video a thumbs up or subscribe... Not that I think that channel will ever break YouTube records, but the higher ranked it becomes, the more likely that people outside our playerbase will see it, which may lead to even more players joining.
Advertising is hard work, and as ridiculous as it may seem, that is actually one of the ways we can support the game as a whole.

RGR on making 1000 YouTube accounts to subscribe and give thumbs up!
Sorry I couldn't attend. Had unfun family junk to deal with the last several days (they make great food at least!).
I will try to show up to the next one.
