Looking for Europe guild
Hi all,
Quite new to VO, just reached my #5 combat, now i can survive a small guardian i'm trying to explore the universe a little bit. Very fun, but... at GMT day times (EST night/morning) , i do feel kind of lonely :-D
Also i have stumbled upon a few missions which seem to require either high skills or fellows.
Can anyone please let me know if any guild has a significant number of members that are playing during that time ?
Thanks for helping a lone rookie :)
PS : please note (early mistake i made ?) i'm Itani :o

Totally not a mistake. :)
That's a big mistake, you'll learn soon enough ;)
There are not so many *active* guilds, so you'd better choose one according to what you like to do.

Ok for the not-a-mistake thing, i'll learn off it :)
I'm not yet really decided about what i'd like to focus on, i'm not a great PvP fan, in other MMOs i tend to get busted in seconds, i'm better at having a tough-but-predictable PvE target... maybe i'll start with mission streams and crafting, and maybe later mission design, or taking part in a Trident build-up.
Most of all i'm looking for guildmates who are not afraid of telling rookies the basics of the game !

Benjz - most ITAN members (itani nationalist guild) would be happy to help you sort things out if you see us in game. Just ask on Ch. 100 if there are any ITAN on. That said, there are other guilds which are also helpful. PvP is just about practice, and it's up to you whether or not you want to get better or not.
There's a very decent amount of european players in VO -- ACE comes to mind as a primarily European guild.

There are no actual "mistakes" in this game, as it's pretty open. Opinions will differ however. As to guilds, as Greenwall said, just ask online. It's a good idea to have a really solid plan as to how you are going to play your character; this will affect whether you're comfortable in a guild or not. Many players often switch guilds, because they were either unsure of how they wanted to play or believed the hype during the guild recruitment announcements. (remember that not all guilds constantly announce themselves)
A good place to go would be the guild section in the VO website. Most of the active guilds have decent descriptions of themselves. The reason this is a good place to start is because only the guilds active some time in the past month are presented there.
Good Luck.

Free tip: Create an ALT, join another existing Guild and learn its internals...
then create your Guild.
Despite the timezone-centric Guild can be interesting, like "Europe Grandsons Guild [EGG]" :D

I would advise against looking at the Guild page on the VO site -- most guilds are inactive and it's hard to know which without some prior in game knowledge.
RED has a high proportion of off-peak players, including myself as Australian. But you can't join as an Itani.
Sure he can. Just get Whistler to rename it PRPL.
Take a look at the guildinfo page of TGFT. you'll see who is logged in atm from our guild. we have pretty many members from GMT, GMT+1 amd GMT+2. Give us a shout on channel 444 and look for replies from guild members. And you can join, no matter if you're itani, serco or UIT. Only exclusion if somebody is a known pirate or griefer.
Bladerus -- you can only see who's logged on if you are in the guild already.
Bladerus Once upon the time there was a trading guild who was accepting only main characters and non known pirates:
Azurea known as Estrian Prosis known as infamous pirate Eclipse
Ecka Estenck known as Short John Silver....
meh rules are made to be broken, that's why IPA has none : ]
