In a move shocking absolutely no one, RED yet again failed to host the Nation War at the appropriate time.

I don't remember for sure which nationality Bufford was, but I'm thinking he was a Serco, because I killed him and I think both of the players I managed to kill were red. The prize was officially 23M, but we all opted to just take an even 7M each because apparently none of us considered 666,666 credits to be worth the effort of remembering what 2/3 works out to in decimal.
