Yeah Hive mining beams are the shiznit. They don't produce any heat either.

I've been trying to reverse engineer hive mining beams for years, but because they are built-in (you will notice that an add-on scan of any collector does not show any mining equipment), they are always too damaged amidst the scrap metal, and have you ever tried to capture a collector alive? We got one into the docking bay of the Rose and it went berserk then self-destructed. Took weeks to clean up the bot goo off the walls. Those neural nodules are squishy!
